Performing Arts Scholarships

The Trustees of The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation have agreed to fund Musical Theatre course scholarships at renowned musical theatre colleges throughout the UK.

These scholarships will be known as The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Scholarships and will be awarded by the schools as part of the audition / selection process on the combined basis of merit and financial need.  Please note students will be means tested for scholarship eligibility. 


Scholarships will be awarded for course fees only and no maintenance grants will be given.

Please note that applications for scholarships made directly to The Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation will not be considered.

 

SPOTLIGHT

As an Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation Musical Theatre Scholarship Graduate you will be entitled to one year’s free membership of Spotlight when you join the main Spotlight directory.

Spotlight books:

Your photos and basic casting details will appear in the Spotlight book, and will be distributed free of charge to key contacts across the industry.

Spotlight website:

Your professional CV will be live on www.spotlight.com – used daily by casting professionals to cast roles across Stage, Musicals, TV, Commercials, Music Videos and Events. Your details will be fully searchable. To make the most of your web page you should also add extra photos and a showreel.

The Spotlight Link:

Your web CV will also be part of The Spotlight Link, the UK’s leading job information (breakdown) service for professional performance work. Hundreds of casting breakdowns are sent out via the Link every week. If you have an agent, they will receive these breakdowns on your behalf and put you forward immediately for relevant roles. If you do not have an agent, you will receive casting information directly by email.
