The Trustees of the ALW Foundation were very happy to award a grant to Bishopsland Educational Trust over 3 years towards the costs of providing specialist training in British silversmithing. This is a one year residential course and the 12 participants will have already completed their BA in silversmithing or jewellery and are chosen on a merit basis from a diverse range of backgrounds. The trainees will learn from skilled professionals and have opportunities to exhibit their work.
